Hey friends! Oh boy oh boy what a whirlwind the past few weeks have been. Definitely struggling to find a balance in everything. Hope it's all well worth it in the long run. :)
Anyway, enough about that! Let's get to some peaceful and calming things like...these floral arrangements!
These florals were coveted from Brandon and Katrina's wedding. If you haven't already, check out their work, they are AMAZING! The floral arrangements are the creations of Amanda from Fantasy Floral Designs. Aren't they gorgeous??
These lovelies made an hour long trek to our home, maintained their shape AND they lasted quite awhile. Sure, there were a few scraps that fell along the way but I didn't even waste these for they were just way to gorgeous to pass.
So while I catch up with all the things, I'm curious to know how you find balance in everything?
There's not one thing that is "average" in this flower arrangement. it's gorgeous! The colors are absolutely beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can only imagine how fresh they are, if they lasted that long without losing a tad of its vibrancy...
The colors are divine, aren't they?? They definitely lasted quite awhile, I don't know what magic she did to make them last for that long. :) Thanks, Kelly!
DeleteSuch gorgeous arrangements, Tana!! It's so awesome that you got to take them home!! And that vase is just beautiful, I might add! I can only imagine how beautiful the actual wedding was...all filled with these arrangements...
ReplyDeleteOh dear, you know how I struggle with work/life balance! It's a constant struggle each day :) I hope things are going better for you! Lately I've been realizing that when I get overwhelmed, I'll just stop and take a break. It's been liberating - yes, I'll literally just shut everything off and take a break - it may last for a couple of days, but I realized, it's okay!! When I return to the task at hand, I have a new perspective :) Hope you're enjoying your week, Tana!! xoxo
You're right on, the reception was so beautiful with all of these arrangements everywhere!!
DeleteThat's a great approach for balance, Jess! I took it easy the last couple of weeks and am ready to take on everything again. And right on, I approached things with a newer and fresher perspective--it was absolutely amazing! :)
these are so beautiful! and their resilience is rather remarkable as well.
ReplyDeletejust like to say that you have a great blog here, i'm so glad i stumbled upon it and can't wait to read more xx

Thanks so much Shannon! Glad you stopped by. :) And yes, I love when flowers have such resilience. I can't say that about tulips ever! ;)
DeleteWhat pretty posies! Floral arrangements are definitely something to live for and appreciate.
ReplyDeleteAs for balance, I think it's best to have a taste of everything. I reckon that's when you've really achieved balance, you need to be flexible in situations and learn to enjoy your fair share of anything and everything. Also incredibly essential to keep an open mind, because life is rather unpredictable. Hope that made some sense! x
That's so insightful, Rachel! You know you've achieved balance when you're flexible in different situations all the while enjoying the tasks at hand. I think I'm getting closer to it but not quite there yet!
DeleteWow, these flowers really caught my attention!
ReplyDeleteSuch vibrant colors and great detail c: Love your
photographic skills already haha! Xx
Aww thanks so much for the kind words! Yep, flowers (any flowers really) always catch my attention too! :)
DeleteGorgeous blooms! I especially love the use of ferns...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kevin! Yes, those ferns really made the whole arrangements come together. I even pressed a few of them so I could keep them for longer! :)
Deletethese are beautiful! hope you strike a balance soon! i don't work right now but when i did, i was horrible at the whole work/life balance thing. have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jane! Definitely getting there--hope you're doing well yourself! :)
DeleteThese are really amazing, I love beautiful and fresh flowers (too bad they are so expensive ;)
ReplyDeleteI finally have some free time after writing my last exam yesterday, so now I'm so happy to start working on some personal projects (and take a few skillshare classes!)
That's awesome Hanna! Personal projects are so fulfilling, aren't they? I get restless if I'm not working on something for myself. Good luck with the new class-would love to hear more about it.
DeleteOh man, finding the balance is hard, I'm thinking of making a whole blog post about it, but I try to schdule a lot and try to stick to that. I love these flowers, they are gorgeous! Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your post on balance, Maru! Scheduling has definitely helped and so has created systems. It's sticking to it that is the most challenging, isn't it?
DeleteThese are absolutely beautiful, especially the vases. I'm with you on finding some balance. I need balance in my life ASAP.
ReplyDeleteSame same!! Hope we can find it together :) Creating systems have definitely helped so far.
DeleteGorgeous arrangements Tana!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Arshia! :)
DeleteI'm a big flowers person myself and I am amazed by people's creativity... just when you've seen some really great bouquets... these for example just bring yet another kind of element with the same flowers I see elsewhere. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteOH and as a creative...I don't know that we'll ever strike the work/life balance thing. The lines get soooo blurry.
ReplyDeleteOh I definitely agree! The lines get oh so blurry!
Deleteso much prettiness! those arrangements are gorgeous!
