Flowers and Light: Peony Love

PeonyLight-10

Yesterday evening, we were at dance practice and we were taught this choreography using imaginary flowers. We were supposed to pick the flower from an imaginary plant, smell it, put it in our hair, pass it on and so and so forth. So we were deciding on which move we'd want to do with the flower when it gets handed to us, and eagerly I said "I'll be the one to smell it!"

And smell the imaginary flower I shall! Because as soon as I said it, a couple of my friends said "She would say that" and the truth is, I would! Just take a look at all the flower photos on my Instagram.

So basically, that leads me to the point of flower photography. I always wonder if the world needs yet another flower photo and then I think, well, it was the first thing that made me want to get into photography and until this day, 2.5 years later, I'm still picking up my camera for it. So hey, flowers>selfies, right ya'll?

  1. Flowers are one of the most beautiful things this world has to offer. They are given on happy occasions are even sad ones, but their purpose is to remind us of the simple things in life. These pictures give off such a peaceful vibe.

  2. I can never tire of looking at flower pictures! As Freud once said, "Flowers are restful to look at. They have neither emotions nor conflicts."
