Instaxes From A Boat Ride

june9th-12

A couple of weekends ago, we went on a boat ride to celebrate one of our friend's birthday. It was a such a great way to celebrate, albeit it was a little overcast. I wasn't prepared for the cold and ended up picking up a light pink-ish scarf prior to getting on the boat. I'm so glad I did because (a)it kept me warm and (b) it serves as a great contrasted backdrop for these instaxes ;)

In hindsight, I noticed that once the sun was setting, the colors on the Instax were getting bluer and bluer. I'm not digging the blue THAT much so I'll keep a note to take photos with this camera only during the day.

  1. I actually like the blue tones of the photos, so unique, specially because you got the tone naturally and without post processing!
    Cute scarf too ;)

    1. Thanks, Arsh! Maybe the blue might grow on me down the line. :)

  2. The scarf looks so soft, and those instax pictures are great! I've never taken instax picture late in the afternoon but I'll keep the blue tone in mind.

    1. Thanks, Lorah! It seemed much lighter out and that's why I was inclined to take these photos but hey, definitely noted for next time. :)

I definitely hope I'll be able to tell the lighting situation prior to snapping away the next time.
