While I was driving last week, I had an epiphany. It was the kind of moment where two seemingly separate points connected together so well that I had to pull over and jot all of it down. It was in this moment that I declared to my husband "I love coffee because I get epiphanies like this!" Is there such a thing as a controlled environment to get epiphanies? If so, this kind of moment just might be it!
Pictured above is a beignet from Bottega Louie, a restaurant and bakery in Downtown LA. It was my first time trying out both the pastry and the place! I heated mine up for 15 seconds which helped the nutella inside melt a little. Just typing these words makes me want to drive out 30 minutes to get another one.
