There's something about white marble that makes it so elegant. It's usually found in residential applications and/or one of the wonders of the world NBD, but I was really happy to see it replicated on other consumer goods...like a phone cover! The pattern is *exactly* that which you would see on a marble slab so I decided to compare the two. I especially love grey veining across the case and although a lot of people aren't fans of these lines, I personally love it. The movement in the lines means so much...

It takes years for marble to form and these lines are just stories of how they were formed. Think of each marble like a slice of bread from a loaf. Each slice has its own separate holes but by the shape of it, you can tell it's part of a loaf. Similarly, each slab of marble from the same "lot" (like a loaf) has these lines, and like each loaf, each "lot" is completely different from another "lot."

That is indeed mesmerizing. I do like minimalistic pale tones, and I think these iPhone cover really is that. Usually most ones I see are rather kiddy, if you know what I mean :)

That phone case is beautiful! I wish I could have all these nice cases everyone buys for their phones but I'm so clumpy and for that reason I'm suck with an OtterBox.
ReplyDeleteI used to be really clumsy with my phone too! I probably still am but I've placed a screen protector on my phone and ever since then I've been able to use thin cases and haven't really noticed any huge dents or scratches on my phone. Have you tried using one of those too?
DeleteI'm looove with this case! White marble is my absolute favourite. Shame the case is only available for iPhone 5. :( If they had it for 4s, I'd be on it IMMEDIATELY.

i adore white marble too! I saw a few images floating around for an iphone 4s white marble case but i couldn't find the original source for purchase! I wonder if you can take a picture of white marble and transfer the picture on a phone case using zazzle or casetagram?
